My partner and I recently had the pleasure of working with Alex Mayer during the purchase of our new home, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, Alex demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and dedication that truly made the home-buying process a seamless and enjoyable experience. From our very first meeting, Alex was incredibly attentive and took the time to listen carefully. It was clear from the get-go that Alex was deeply knowledgeable about the current market and even sat us down and took the time to explain the various nuances of the home buying process. He went above and beyond and was always quick to arrange viewings at times that were convenient for my partner and I (which included him taking the time to drive to the Twin Cities area on several occasions). When it came to making an offer, Alex was exceptional. He skillfully negotiated on our behalf and helped us land the home of our dreams on our very first attempt! Throughout the entire process, Alex maintained clear and open communication. I cannot stress this enough! He has so many strong qualities, but by far his best quality is communication!!! He was ALWAYS available to answer questions (even when he was on vacation), provide updates, and address any concerns I had. His responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile truly sets him apart. In addition, his positive attitude, patience, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction made the experience not only successful but also enjoyable. I found the process of home buying easy because of him! Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We recently worked with Alex on selling our home in Rochester, Minnesota, and I can honestly say he’s the best real estate agent we’ve ever met. From the very beginning, he explained things so clearly and made sure we understood every step of the process. He gave us great advice on what was actually worth doing before listing, and he set the right pricing strategy based on the market trends so we felt confident moving forward.

As a mom with a baby and a dog, I was really stressed out and had a lot of anxiety about the whole process. Alex was incredibly patient and responsive whenever I had a question or concern, he got back to me right away and always made me feel taken care of. He never made me feel like I was bothering him, and I felt comfortable talking to him about everything.

One thing that really stood out is that even after we moved out, Alex would stop by the house to check on things, sometimes even bringing his dogs along 

That extra level of care and thoughtfulness meant the world to us.

Will start off by saying could not recommend Alex higher in buying a home in the Rochester, MN area. He truly is everything a realtor should be.
From the moment we first met him for our initial (free) consultation his honesty, integrity, and knowledge shown through immensely.
He took great care to explain every step of the home buying process in a simple, easy to understand manner. He cites his three pillars of Education, Communication, and Responsiveness, and more than lived up to those. He answered all questions we had and we left that meeting feeling much more knowledgeable and prepared for the home buying process and excited to work with him!

When we then started to look at prospective houses with Alex, he was unbelievably responsive and lined up and met us for showings on very short notice. He also provided really helpful insight as we were looking at homes on things to look out for and what he saw as prospective positives or negatives for a particular home. He is very patient, eased our minds, was very supportive during times of uncertainty, and truly just wanted us to find the exact home we were looking for.

Once we did find that home, his knowlege of the offer process was a tremendous help in helping us structure our bid correctly for us to get the house despite multiple other offers. It was an intense and quick period of the process and Alex knocked it out of the park. He gave us the knowledge and confidence to know we were putting our best foot forward to get the house we wanted.

After having our offer selected, he then took time to go over again the entire process and steps of what would happen all the way through closing (which he also explained in that initial meeting). His connections with industry affiliates and knowlege were again extremely helpful in expediting that process and allowing us to close quickly. It honestly was a much smoother process then we were anticipating and we owe a lot of that to Alex. He was at our close and it was so great to celebrate with him once we signed!

To finish, will say again that I could not recommend Alex Mayer any more highly if you are looking to buy a home in the Rochester, MN area. You are getting everything a realtor should be and more!
